Heater outlet

Hi, I have a diesel heater on order that will be underslung, having thought about where to feed the outlet the most convenient place I can come up with is between the drivers and passenger seats (single seats) either next to the handbrake or behind it but still in the front cab, has anyone routed this way and if so any issues faced?
Thanks

I’ve literally just fitted one this weekend and had the same issue. I ended up with it coming up in the under sink unit and then a vent put on the front of the unit.
Just finished scribing out a false floor for that cupboard to hide the hose and actually a load of wiring.
A word of advice if you are going underslung is make sure you have 2 meters + of duct hose
As some of the kits available do not account for this.

Ensure the hole in the van floor has a smooth edge, preferably a heat resistant grommet.
I’ve worked on two vans where the underslung heater hose has been cut by a sharp floor edge, I can’t imagine anybody thinking it was going to end well done like that, probably a converter churning out high speed crap.

Rear of drivers seat if room to route and not blocked by cupboards etc
Why do you want in front cab when it has van heater ..??
Hi, I have no cupboard just a full width bed and behind the driver seat is where the dog sleeps and also room room up behind passengers so my only real options were in the sliding door step and have the intake in drivers side step or in the middle between the seats
