Morning all,
As it's hovering around 0/1C and I'm still using my van - I'm concerned about my Lithium batteries longevity if I'm using/ charging it at these temperatures.
Has anyone fitted a heat matt to address these colder temperatures?
You shouldn't charge the battery below 5 degrees as it will damage the battery. The Renogy dc-dc charger has an inbuilt thermometer and won't charge when its too cold. Worth investing in a bluetooth team dodge for peace of mind also.
One of the LiFePo4 posts has a link to a matt, but I can't remember where. @Dellmassive wrote it i think so will know where to look.
