Head unit help needed.

I’d like to change the head unit in my van and would like the largest screen possible, but still flush with the dash, which rules out the alpine halo (unless I can be convinced otherwise that I’m making a big mistake!)

Must haves, full integration with the steering controls, parking sensors, dab, hands free and wireless car play.

I’ll be looking to connect it directly to my amp which powers the door speakers and sub

The new Kenwood DMX80AXS looks good with its 9 inch screen and bespoke surround but for some crazy reason doesn’t appear to have DAB radio. Is there a sensible work around?

Otherwise, it’s likely between the Kenwood DMX-8021 DABS and the Alpine iLX-705D Both of which seem similar, except the Kenwood is cheaper

I’d appreciate any advice or if there’s is another option not yet considered?

Please feel free to give your feedback and add any photos or helpful info.

Thanks Paul

Just ordered the Kenwood DMX8021 dabs
A good unit,
However a word of caution these units are notorious for getting dust behind the screen that isn’t easily removed.
I have one of these in the work van so doesn’t bother me too much but wouldn’t have another one for that reason only.
The new ones may have resolved this as Kenwood are well aware.
I’m sure there are several threads on here discussing it at length.

That's interesting, doesn't appear to have FM radio either but I suppose that's the way we're going, everything off your phone/data wireless connection.
