Thanks for your helpful post Mike!
I agree with you, I’m certainly not a scammer.

But I’ve paid, and been paid by bank transfer many times in the past and not had any problems whatsoever.

….that’s all I’m saying regarding your post.

Do I need these? I'm running 255/40R20'S on standard suspension but getting ready to lower the van modestly, will these create an issue or help or what? Sorry for my lack of knowledge with wheel spacers, always best to ask if unsure I say!

I see you have another set of these on here, would you consider a deal on both?

Also, looks like the bolts are for the OEM wheels, what length are the bolts on each set as I guess I would need different for my aftermarket alloys?

Cheers

Hi Fishinbrine,
I don’t know if my spacers would work with your setup. But would have thought it would be ok.
What offset are your wheels?

Hi cgtmiles,
I would sell both sets of spacers (12mm and 21mm) for £180
Wheel bolt length of the 12mm spacers is approximately 48mm.
The H&R wheel spacers come with H&R supplied wheel bolts for the spacers which are approximately 26mm.

Hi cgtmiles,
I would sell both sets of spacers (12mm and 21mm) for £180
Wheel bolt length of the 12mm spacers is approximately 48mm.
The H&R wheel spacers obviously come with the original correct OEM wheel bolts to suit the spacers which is approximately 26mm.
Do the H&R take the standard wheel bolts then?

If you have alloy OEM VW wheels use the bolts supplied with the H&R wheel spacers to fit. As shown in my photos.
One set of bolts to mount the spacer on the hub, and one set of bolts to mount the wheel to the spacer.

The 12mm spacers have longer bolts for OEM alloy wheels that are 12mm longer than standard wheel bolts.

…you could always put them back on here for sale again if you’re not happy with them. ;)

In case the below info is any use to anyone, especially if you have a Caravelle like me as I now have 15mm spacers on the rear and 5mm shim spacers on the front and I’m happy with that:

Hi, I removed the 12mm and fitted 15mm spacers on the rear instead.
I have 8.5 x 18 ET45 wheels and 235/55/18 tyres.

I have a T6.1 Caravelle and found that if I went any bigger than 15mm that my electric sliding door interior door card would rub on the tyre. I think the Caravelle door card is thicker than the normal Transporter?
So I went on the cautious side first with the 12mm spacers then found I could just get away with using 15mm instead.

Hi Fishinbrine,
Not 100% sure but I think 21mm spacers might push your tyres just outside the arch with 8.5 and ET35. Can you measure the distance between the tyre edge and wheel arch now and add the 21mm to see what you think of that?
I’m sure someone else on here will come along soon to give you more advice.
My 12mm spacers I have for sale might suit you better.
Also you might need different wheel bolts if you have aftermarket wheels?
You might need taper seat rather than radius seat bolts?

Good fun this, isn’t it?;)

But what are the length of the threads on the 21mm spacer wheel bolts? They weren’t the original bolts by the sounds of it so I’m guessing they were shorter
