Glow plug 4, All in warranty

Getting no4 glow plug fault, anyone been successful in claiming on the all in warranty?
Also, if one’s failed is it worth changing the rest, seems like a fair bit of work to access them.

It’s a lot of extra expense that many garages will happily charge for. No need or benefit to replacing them all.
It is also possible that the glow plug fault is wiring not the plug itself. If you have access to a multimeter you can check the continuity / resistance / insulation to ground of the glow plug.

I've the same issue with my van,it's in the local VW dealership after engine management light came on last Friday.Called VW breakdown, AA came out said there was AdBlue sensor and no4 glow plug fault, they took my van in spoke to dealership this morning, and they've confirmed the faulty glow plug. So I'm praying it's covered by the All-In plan,but very confident it is.

should be covered. I have had no3 done (expensive one with sensor built in) as part of the attempted fix for adblue issue and no2 done which went faulty. All under all in warranty

I am told they can access 1 and 4 without removing EGR cooler

Only issue you may have is if they are siezed but guess that is their problem not yours, I think they have induction heaters to warm things up

Thanks for your reply.That's relief to here someone has had their's done under the All-In policy. I had a V-Class years ago with one that had seized,apparently Mercedes were renowned for over tightning them ,and as a result the end snapped off when tried to change it,but I rang it years without any problems.

Dealer rang this morning,van's ready,work done under the All-In Scheme saving me £448,what's not to like.

Too right, plus I've already had a new rear speed sensor sorted out through the All-In Scheme, and still waiting to have my sliding door looked at .

No there's a winding noise from the middle of door which has worsened recently
