Glove box part missing?

I have a T6 and there seems to be something missing from the glovebox? Does anyone know what it is and where I can get one please ? Thanks

Yeah mine hasn’t got it at all, the picture with it in is not my glovebox, I’m missing that part

Panel vans don't get it, at least my 3 haven't.

Is it a damper for slowing the opening? My Audi’s have all had them.

Don’t the posh vans get a slightly better glove box with lining etc. Maybe this would be included on them to give a more upmarket action?

You can probably get the parts from your local dealer. You'll need part number 7E6858309 which is the arm itself, then you'll need 1C1880802 which is the plastic retaining pin. Might be worth a look on ebay too.
