Gear lever moving up and down on accelleration and decelleration

Checked search. Could not find anything. As stated above our T5 just bought has the following problem. 'Gear lever moving up and down on accelleration and decelleration'. According to me it should be a faulty enjin mounting. Also have exhaunt fume smell in the cab. This i also put down to the enjin mounting causing gaps in the exhaust connections because of enjin movement due to faulty enjin mounting. Thank you in advance

Sounds like you got this one covered, fumes in the cab isn't good though.

THank you. Yes not using her much at the moment. Cannot get under her as i am recovering from a dubble hernia operation. Quite frustrating
