Garages that do an EGR flush and AC work in the TW1 area (or south of there)?

Hi all,

T6 is now out of ext warranty and the EML is on with the EGR air flow issue, so I think it needs a flush - or replace (70k on the clock)
Also the AC is not blowing cold, has a fault with an open circuit might be the control valve (or maybe the compressor).

I don't really want to take it to VW commercial as they will charge me £125 to plug in the diagnostics and it will cost a fortune for the repairs as its out of extended warranty.

Does anyone know any good garages in the Tw1 area that would look at this ? (my local garages are just service / mot type stuff )

Or even further south down the M3 / A3 ? easy for me to get out that way.

Hey mattbryson, I am just down the A316 from you. I have collected a list of local garages that I would think of taking my van too - instead of wasting time and money at CordWallis commercials. But I haven't had to use one yet, so i cannot personally recommend any of them.
That said, I recently had some bodywork done at Hounslow Coachworks (who I definitely recommend) - there is a mechanic in the same complex (not visible from the road, I think his name was Louis). The guys at the coachworks thoroughly recommended this mechanic. If I need any work done (I can't do myself) I would be taking my van to him.

Ah great.

Cordwallis are a nightmare, had such terrible experiences with them. After that I have been using the guys at Camberley Service Center , 1000% times better service. Just down the M3, but always managed to get a courtesy car.

good to know, I've just sacked off Cordwallis in Maidenhead and looking for a plan B
