Garage recommendations pls

Looking for Garage recommendations in the Surrey/Hampshire area, preferably the northern half as I’m not sure the Van would make it down to the coast.
I think the dreaded EGR cooler is on its way out and I know it’s a pig of a job, and pricey!

Had mine done at VanTech Uckfield, maybe too far for you but great garage

I'd definitely recommend The Phirm in Blackwater near Camberley. They are always really busy but they know their VWs inside out and have a solid reputation.
Might be a bit far for you though.

Well, I’ve tried Van tech two days in a row and no one has been available. Probably just into workshop.
Called the guys at The Phirm and yes, they are busy. I’ve got a booking on June 11, which was the earliest they could do for a diagnostic they said Price will be around £1600 to £1700.
Did see some guys with other posts on here saying they were getting it for around £1300.
Another place I called near me we’re quoting £2500

Initially I contacted Steve at vantech using their online form asking for a quote, he emailed me and called. For follow up work I just email him and he gets back to me, I guess they are just busy

Well guys I got it done at VanTech. Total cost £1440. They also had a look over the Van for me checked some bushes. I was concerned about and sorted out a couple of error codes I was getting on LED headlights after a retrofit so all in not too bad.
Here’s the old EGR valve.
