Steve is a one-man band and in between working on R32’s and GTi’s, done my cambelt with ancillaries for £300 (March 2020).

+1 for VW Mad. Steve is a decent bloke. He did my cam belt, water pump and DSG service on my last T6 as well as refitting OEM springs and will be using him again when I get another one.

Looking for recommendations for a garage for servicing and MOT nearby...

Also, I'm on 97k miles - are there any suggestions of items I should be looking to get done sooner rather than later? Ie.. Timing belt?

Yes - I’d recommend VW Mad near Rochford if you’re over this side of Essex. I don’t think they do MOTs though. I go to Christchurch Service Station in Southend for that
