Okay, truth be told I don't own a VW, I own a ford custom, but this seems to be the best site for camoervan conversions.
I am considering converting my van to a camper. I see the vans that are insulated, lined and with kitchen units ect.
My questions is; I know on ford's the harness runs down the side of the van, between the otuerskin and the pillars, alongnthe side where the units go. I also know behind the vans panelling there are some electrical modules with connections, and access parts for lights. I know this is a common thing for many types of vans.
So, how do you plan to access these parts once the van has been converted?
I know some VW have looms behind panels, I think some run through the roof.
Does anyone give it any thought on how it's accesses when faults occur?
