Front undertray

Having just damaged my second addblu undertray by going through a puddle, has anyone found that fitting the front ( under engine) tray reduces the risk of damage.
It looks like it might vector the water away from the vertical face of the add blu undertray a bit, but I would be Interested in the experience of anyone that has one fitted?
Are there any other the solutions - the OEM design seems totally unfit for purpose

Mine was also disappeared off mine when I got the van. I have since fitted the front engine undertray and the adblue undertray piece and I fitted mud flaps. Theory is that having all three pieces prevents the adblue piece from getting ripped off. I was also thinking of putting sound proofing material with the foil backing on the inside of the adblue tray to strengthen it to see if that might improve the longevity so that the plastic doesn't get crispy as quickly. I haven't done this yet though as I wasn't sure if there are any hot parts exposed in this area that would catch the butyl stuff on the sound proofing on fire.

Hey guys flood took off my near side under trays, took it in today to have new ones fitted they where unable to fit them as the fittings on the adblue tank where also damaged hence a new adblue tank😡 required now waiting on a price. However they did recommend a fabricator to make a stainless one up but they have a six to eight week waiting list. My question is does anybody have a pattern to make one or know where to get one made?
I have a nice piece of stainless steel to do the job but due to health issues I’m unable to do it myself as ideally it wants to go on a ramp.
Thanks Al

There's an upgraded under tray here:-
However when I got my tray replaced the centre fixing was missing and it's been fine.
Unfortunately main dealers will never look at fixing stuff (eg bonding new fixings on) but a good independent would probably be able to come up with a solution to repair the fixings on the addblu tank or use alternative mounting points.
A new tank won't be cheap - good luck!!
