Hi, thank you for letting me join your forum, is my first post, I have a 07 Shuttle and am looking to do some light restoration to hopefully protect it into its 20's.
First job, which I thought would be simple, is the mudflaps. The mudflap hangers are very corroded, the front ones came off easily, the rears I am having trouble with, looking at the parts list (Item 14) they are the ones with a screw fixing from behind the bumper. This is a very neat looking solution, but all of the instructions / videos I can find show mudflaps with screws that are fitted from the front. I'm very keen to keep the originals as I can fix the hangers and the rubber is in okay condition.
Has anyone had experience of this style of mudflap? Am I going to have to take the bumper off or loads of trim to get to the screw?
Thanks in advance.
