Front Assist

Hi ...Has anyone had a front assist moment....Brake’s lock on and scares the S**t out ur..

had the dampers changed but still used the original 30mm springs the Dealer fitted ( this was done months ok ....so ride hight should not have really changed and assume it’s not effect Active cruise control as that’s been working ok)

t32 204 ( day vehicle only so no real load)

any thoughts ( or could be a VW gremlin )

Mines activated loads of times, but only when it should of done.
The only time it scared the crap out of me was when a Sprinter van turned in a dedicated right hand turn and his back end slightly came into my lane.. I didn't see it as an issue, but my sensor apparently did.

Still think that feature is brilliant though.

Yes agree great feature...had a thought my other half did hear a warning bleep prior but I’m a mutton Geoff


so is there a way of making the warning tone louder....

Mate, you must be hard of hearing the warning bleeps make you jump as much as the brakes being jammed on.

No idea if they can be set louder though.
