Fridge plug

Anyone know where i can buy a plug like the one pictured? I’ve looked everywhere I can think of and cant find one. It’s from a 12v compressor fridge. I’m after one so i can make up my own cable to connect direct into my fuse panel rather than plugging into the cigarette socket. I could cut the end off the existing cable but would prefer to keep that so I can use it in other vehicles.

fingers crossed you guys can help.

FYI,

my mains adaptor come with a 14.5v @ 6A DC power brick - NOT 12v.

see here :

cut the cable and put your own plug and socket in between that then connects to the remainder of the cable you cut off

Yeah I saw that, I had a search for one of those and couldn’t find one of them either...
Want to do your magic for me ;)

this any good?
I saw the Amazon one which looks OK, but I’m a skinflint and know i could make one for waaaay less than £20. It’s the only one i could find that gave any info on cable size. If I can’t find just a plug I’ll probably go for this one and cut the cig plug off. It’s 3M long which is also a bonus.
The EBay one is in Australia and £35 postage so I’ll give that one a miss.

Yeah I could do that but it means that the cable will be made shorter by the length of the tail I keep with the cig plug on and I didn’t want it make it any shorter.

is your one 12/24v?

got a pic of the spec plate?

PSUs will run much longer and cooler if you run them @ 50% capacity.

so if your fridge draws 1.8A on 24v, then double it to 3.6A - the closest is 5A . . .

so maybe have a look at this 24v PSU?

Then I’m back to my original question as it doesn’t have the correct plug on it :(

nope.

what ever you do you will need to buy a PSU and a cable and join them . . .

unless you can find a ready made solution (like the one supplied with mine)

you might be able to go to one of the ebay sellers and see if they will sell you a PSU as spares etc . . .
