Floor Rails From Front To Back

hi noob here please go easy on me. Im looking to get info on repositioning my double passenger seat to behind the drivers seat.im a carpet fitter and at the moment I have installed a bracket that lets me fold the seat and place carpets 4m long from on top of dash to my tail gate but then my labourer has no save place to sit.can I install the floor rails so I can unclip the passenger seat and move it behind the drivers chair when I need to use van for carrying carpet .any info

Rails will allow you to move single 2nd row seats on either side.
But you also have the cheaper option of 3 x 1 QR kombi seats.so you can have any combination of 2nd row.

thanks fish.what i really need is a system that allows me to remove passenger seat .so i can place goods from right under passenger floor foot well right to the tailgate. ie carpets.then have the ability to place seat back when not carrying any goods .just the family.
thanks again fish

Then maybe look at a quick release bolt mechanism for the passenger seat? or see if it is possible to use the QR brackets in the front opposed to a seat base.. I have no idea on this but thinking outside the box..

thinking outside the box .i could just build a sliding box with no lid the full width and length of the van from behind the passenger box seat.then just pull tailgate down and tie down .i think your aloud to have goods stick out back of van 3m as long as you tag it with some sort of reflective stuff.
just an idear

Surly there’s a better choice of van for a carpet fitter? That’s gota be like doing removals in a escort van hahaha

Don't most carpet fitters use a roof rack for long carpets? They come in plastic so no risk of getting them wet. That leaves you can interior free for tools and things.

Hello Stanley....Few months old now this post but will share my experience

Im a fitter myself and been running these Transporters for around 5 years now....Always had 2 single seats upfront to allow the 4m roll to shoot up the centre LWB - problem is it is very very tight and if you have a chunk of carpet then you will struggle and have to tie down the tailgate .....Had a very busy year this year so far so decided enough is enough and ordered the MWB low roof crafter for the job -12 weeks waiting

Overal dimensions of the van is around half metre longer so this will be perfect for us me thinks :)

Update us on what you managed to do

Sorry everyone didn’t release it’s been so long from being on the forum.ended up taking the double passenger seat out and the bulk head .then got fitted a single seat behind the drivers seat.my van can take 4m length and still close my tailgate.
the issue with getting a bigger van is most of my work is in glasgow city centre with under ground car parks the other vans are just to tall and not long enough the lay the carpets down on the floor without bending them.
