Flexible (additional) storage ideas

Wondering what innovative solutions people have built for when you need additional storage, but still want to be agile and tidy when you’re moving between sites daily? I can happily travel with a drawer of pants and socks, but the Mrs wants to bring her entire wardrobe and bathroom and it drives me nuts! What with that plus the dog’s paraphernalia, We end up with multiple bags that get thrown into the awning usually and inevitably end up in a mess on the floor. The new van will have a lot more storage, but I am betting it still wont be enough, so i was also thinking of getting converters to build something additional that we can throw into the back or attach to the mobiframe rails, perhaps with some sections for storing clothes etc, and maybe doubling up as a bench seat. Or maybe there is something off the shelf that would do the trick? Thinking being, she can decant all her crap into that and it either stays in back of van behind bed, or can be lifted out and put in the awning without making a mess.

Any inspiration welcome! I know i could just bring a bunch of suitcases but they wont match the van lol

We have a collapsible kitchen/storage unit that we put in the awning to declutter the van.
The worktop was absolute rubbish, so has been replaced with a sheet of 9mm varnished plywood that slots in.
It’s like this

We don't camp but we do travel with a fair chunk of kit for weekly road trips.

We've standardised on the £8 barrel bags from eBay to compartmentalise clothes and soft items which means there are a number of ways they can be wedged and stored.

We also have a big duffle bag that means we can bung coats or several of the barrel bags into one unit and often we strap that into a spare seat.

We also use a number of Really Useful Boxes that stack neatly.

Some packing ideas in my build thread in case they give some inspiration:
