Thinking of fitting a couple of USB ports somewhere in the rear passenger compartment of my Kombi. Where do I start? Can anyone recommend where to buy them from and where to wire them into. Only need them to charge up phones and tablets etc for the kids.

I want to do the same but include a 12v socket for the TV's etc

Theres normally an unused feed under the passenger seat that you could rig into a small fusebox to feed aux equipment, its permanently live though so leaving stuff plugged in will give you a flat batt
I went for berker sockets from kiravans as needed mains & 12V sockets and they do a nice range that has trim fascia plates that join them all together would need to check what usb sockets they do.
If you are planning to charge iPads/tablets make sure you get a usb socket rated at 2.1A
Most are 1A and is only for phones

Cool thanks. I'll have a mooch under the seat. Assume 5A in-line fuse from spare under seat feed?

Something like that would work, i had a red cable approx 6-10mm size blanked off doing nothing and used this to feed all my additional equipment
If would run in a 1.5mm cable minimum & put it on a 15-20A fuse then you have a bit of overhead to run a couple of them or one usb and a cig socket if you wanted
