Good Morning, I want to fit a Forty Winks bed in my SWB T6.1 Panel Van but upon further investigation, it does not appear to have any fixing nuts above the wheel arch? Does anyone have experience of this and what is the solution please?

Any pictures? Have you got carpet over it? They are usually where 1 o'clock is if that makes sense if your arch was a clock.

Hi @AYRGUNN, thanks for replying. I have no carpet yet and I know where the holes are and they are definitely there at aroun1 o'clock, just no nuts on the back side :(

Sorry mines just a 6 not the 6.1. Anyone installed a 40Winks to their 6.1? Pictures from T6

I don’t think it’s a T6.1 issue, I assume it’s a panel van issue and VW just didn’t fit the plate/nut on the back of the panel. Much like the one for the safety belts for the Kombi seats.

This is same idea but does not need the seatbelt holes, hope it helps

Hi, what was your solution for this?

I have the same situation that there is no threaded bolt inside the wheel arch hole.

Cheers

Hi @gmoxham31, I ended up getting a couple of the seat belt plates that you would use for the kombi belts, and placing them at the back of the existing hole and rivet through from the front; they worked perfectly.
