At last, my 150 DSG Highline LWB van has arrived at the dealers. I'm signing the paperwork in the morning and should pick her up on Monday. Dealer is fitting roof rails and x-bars. Also, I've got a set of Devonports being fitted along with a 30mm lowering job. More on the wheels soon...
What may appear odd to some of you is that I've not driven a T6 yet, or in fact ever sat in one. So it's going to be a real first time on Monday. I did the research on the 'net and read lots of the comments on here, so my mind was already made up before I decided where to buy.

Van is booked in at the converters mid may for some upgrades, I'm turning into a 4-seater amongst other stuff.

I'd like if poss some advice on a front splitter. The popular ones appear to be the Travelin-Lite, World of carbon and van style units. As I'm hoping to fit myself, are these easy to fit, and which is the best?

I'll post some before and after pics and stuff as the works progress.

World of Carbon for me mate.
Simple to fit with 8 x 25mm pan head bolts and small amount of 3M tape

Welcome Matey - I’d never driven a T6 either but had driven a T5 and was impressed with the difference in drive quality. I went from a Trendline T5 to a Highline T6.

I look foreward to seeing your pictures.

Quite a few people on here have the Maxton Designs splitter

I fitted it easily on my own:thumbsup:

Thanks guys, for the welcome and the advice. I'll take a look at the Maxton splitter Richard. I was leaning toward the WOC as Fish has.

Just been in to sign paperwork. 30mm lowering has been done, roof rails on, just waiting for cross-bars to arrive. I didn't take a peek though, thought I'd wait....

I did ask about their valet guy, as I've read some bad stories on here about the PDI valet. Turns out that their guy worked for Porsche for many years, so I've given them the nod.

I'll probs take out the extended VW 2 year warranty as it's £369.00 + VAT. Dealer couldn't tell me though whether this included the breakdown cover. Hopefully I'll find out on Monday. If it does, it's a no-brainier I reckon.

I have the maxton V1, fitted it on my drive, on my own. Then fitted a V2 to ZipcodeUK’s van.
We fitted @fish’s World is Carbon version in a campsite field.
So all are pretty straightforward to do on your own. Much of a muchness really.

Very nice choice and love the sun roof, didn't realise you could get sunroof for van

Also love the leather seats, are they VW seats or after market. The white looks stunning, will go for leather on mine along with swivels when budget allows

Thanks all. Actually these are not leather. It's VW marathon robust. Standard accessory when I ordered the van. £100.00 option. Going to coat them up with Scotchguard. As I've decided not to fit covers even though it's a work van. I was going to, but I like the look too much. Electric sun roof + blind was a £560.00 cost option. With it comes the better roof console without the daft cubby, and an extended decent roof lining. All in all a very light and pleasant place to sit.

Really do like the interior, definitely going to be a nice cockpit to sit in on a hot summers day

Nice van, that cab does look a nice place to be.
