Fiamma F43 - Poproof Options

Firstly Hi . I am looking to get a F43 awning fitted and I have an Austops Pop roof. I don't really want to drill into the van, but hoping someone who has had more experience with Fiamma and the bracket options might be able to help me understand the options. As far as i can tell i have 2 options:-

Option 1 - 98655A160 - This requires drilling into the side of the van (and is Fiamma supported option), but my question is will the pop roof still sit on top of the bracket or does it clear it?


Option 2 - 98655A648 - These sit in the gutter and with a pop roof i would have to put the rear one on the 3rd gutter bolt. Question here is does the pop roof still sit flush to roof from peoples experience or does it leave a small gap? I know Fiamma won't support this option, but would mean i don't need to drill holes.

I have option 2, pop top sits as nicely as it did beforehand.

I just read something that Fiamma won't cover any warranty if it is fitted that way

Hi, did this work out okay? I am about to buy one, tried already but turns out they had no stock. I was looking at the same question can option no2 work with Thule roof bars mounted to the inner two mounts leaving the end mounts free/or for my F43. I cannot see why they wouldnt work

Hi Yea worked out fine. I just used the 1s and 3rd gutter bolt hole

could I use 1 and 4 do you think? I will go and measure it its over 2700mm

Do you have a LWB? Think for the SWB it is the first and last that they say to use anyway on the smaller F43. LWB i think they recommend a middle bracket too
