so,following on from my leaking crankshaft seal,would anybody have a crankshaft of motor to hand that could measure the diameter of the crankshaft at the timing pully end?as accurate as possible,thanks

Forgot to say,its a 2.0tdi motor,anyone?

Are you thinking of fitting a Speedi Sleeve then? ( Don't know diameter though, sorry )

Yes mate,if it needs it! I've been back to see the mechanic that has just fit the new seal ,he told me the crankshaft must be worn as he's done hundreds of these seals,it was lubed up with grease before he fit it apparently! Its a Teflon seal so should go on dry! Anyway I've got access to a workshop and 4 post lift at work so I'm going to replace it myself,would be handy to have a speedi sleeve just in case
