I have a 2010 5.1 which I bought from new, I ticked the second battery option with the intension of fitting an inverter. Up to now I have never used the second battery, but I am now wishing to find power for the connect of a 13 pin tow bar socket. I was expecting the battery to be no use after 12 years, but there is no charge going into the battery either.
The fuse adjacent to the battery is OK, the relay is energised when the engine is running, but there is no voltage in the supply end of the relay base.
It could even be that it has never worked from day one as I have never used it.
What I am hoping someone can guide me to where this cable is connected, the wire is approximately 16mm, can't see it at the battery and no fuses are large enough in the fuse box centre of lower dash.
