Hi, now actively searching for new high spec kombi, are there any fundermental differences between a factory built kombi and a professionally converted panel van ?
Tia
Some converters use basic vans to convert and look fantastic….but its what’s under the bonnet and the options that are factory fitted that count….for converters it’s Profit margin’s… Factory LED lights and other factory options are very expensive to retro fit..the other option if deep pockets is to buy the best unit with all the toys you can’t live without and convert it…Remember it’s the drivability of the vehicle that takes you on the journey…Not the bed at the back..
ps …Some have tried test driving using a hire vehicle…You can then see if it’s got the pulling power and grunt for motorway driving and don’t forget one day you might tow/carry bikes….Plan for the future
