Hi. I’m planning on fitting this ladder and loading plate. What luggage box would you recommend? The loading plate can be fitted with brackets for mounting cargo boxes, which I assume would need to have holes drilled in them to fit the brockets.

I like the design of the ladder and plate, it keeps everything high and above the bikes which will be on a tow hitch rack. Also there is no drilling to fit the ladder to the van.

I think the toughest would be one of those peli cases, but mega pricey so a used one would be more realistic, I’ve seen them in lots of different shapes and sizes, I would work out the height of the bikes on the carrier then look for a suitable size box.
I guess there must be other storage boxes but not looked into it
I used a front runner box, they are small but I only had a small space to mount one,
I used those turn thumb screw type knobs, with a spreader plate inside the box
I’m guessing your still be able to use the pull door handle with a box fitted?

The wolf pack pro with the high mid looks like a good option.
I also found these, the medium size looks good.

Like you say, depends on the bikes, they will be folding bikes, so won’t be too tall.

I’m guessing your still be able to use the pull door handle with a box fitted?

My mistake, I thought the door handle was on the righthand door, but just worked out it’s on the left, never paid much attention as I’ve a tailgate
