Hi all,

Previously fitted Van Furniture last time but this time I fancy a unit from Evo Motion. What are their flat pack kits like? Easy to put together? Wasnt best pleased with Van Furniture instructions but their product was satisfactory.

Looking at their low level kitchen

Good morning,

I can’t comment on fitment as I didn’t fit mine as it was done by the previous owner but after around 3+ years worth of use it’s all still looking good and very solid with no issues at all.

Doesn’t help you question on ease of fitting but quality seems very good! I also have same curved unit behind the drivers seat, which is handy as the seat can swivel fully. 👍🏼

Ahh that's good to hear, thank you

There’s plenty of info covering Evo on here…. Simply use the search engine…

The Evo 7.4 fitted in my LWB is over 7 years old and is still faultless. The individual flat pack build experience is what it is..

Just built and fitted an Evo Design unit in our SWB -
Instructions are terrible.
Customer service is excellent.
Easy enough to build once in the flow.
Don’t need expensive tools.
Materials are great.
Finish is good and durable.
Tambour doors are stiff.
Hinges are good.
Latches are nice.

Happy to answer anything specific if you have it?

Built and fitted ours a few months back, the instructions leave you to work some of it out for yourself. A few bits were missing or damaged but evo sorted it quickly.

Seems to be very well designed and would use them again.

Shame they don't offer any customisation on simple products like the LED light shelf, I'm having to make my own... but I suppose it will slow them down if they have to alter things.

Yeah I love Evo, solid and fun to build, a very rewarding DIY project.

The weak points for me are the knock-on edging, they're starting to look very dated now. Exposed ply looks so much better, it would be great to see them offer that as an option.

Ahh cool! You see, VanFurniture was not fun to build! Ha ha

This is everything I need to know mate cheers. It seems all flat pack instructions are poor so I'll just go with flow. I managed with VanFurniture, just thought they were quite poor so was hoping Evo weren't going to be 'as poor'

I’m after the style linked above which looks like it has drawers in the end cupboard. But my question is is that the “drawers” appear to go into the van panel and not butt up against the card. Does yours do something similar? Do you have to remove the lining panels? Cheers
