I have always noticed a noisy linkage but recently it's been more audible and annoying me more.
It happens when you don't change gear smoothly and in situations where there is allot of engine movement and clutch usage like going into reverse from 3 point turning and stop start traffic.
Now the gear linkage can be rattled with the hand from inside the engine bay and I can push it back into 2nd gear from neutral with my hand in the engine bay. Once in 2nd gear it won't move.
It's very noisy and rattly.
Anyone experienced this. Great changes fine and nothing noticeable driving it.
