Euro 5 140 remap

Nice one for the heads up, I’ve found it on Google maps, I’ll be getting booked in with them for a dyno run.

Update on this thread. I called over to Celtic Tuning today and they had the van on the rolling road and said it came in on 148bhp which was good considering it's a Euro 5 140. They increased the torque and when it left the shop it was on 181bhp. Noticed the difference immediately as I went for more oomph in 3&4th gears with me towing the caravan. Torque up from 267 to 317. I'll have to see what it is like on the drive home.

Those stock and tuned numbers look great!

You’ve got a good engine in there!
They almost always return slightly less than stock numbers.

Towing back along the A30 will be so much easier for you now, you should return better mpg too.

Im hoping the towing will be a bit better but not really bothered by mpg. I'll probably still keep an eye on it though.

The engine has been looked after since I've had it. New egr,new clutch, new intercooler, belt change, full dealer history, so it seems all that has paid off.

I've never believed you get more power for less but you do get more power so it's worth it.

Did they give you a dyno print out?
Yeah, full dyno print out. The torque starts at the OEM band at low revs then increases with the revs. Drivability has improved a lot. 180bhp should have been the min in these vans!!

Must add, that they can't do T6.1's yet as they can't hack into it.

Drove home yesterday from Newquay and the van is transformed. The A30 and it's hills was easier going home, even with a full tank of fuel. I was even able to overtake HGVs and slow cars going uphill, something I wasn't able to achieve before. Made towing so much easier and more relaxed. Big thanks to Celtic Tuning down in Newquay for the 23% boost in power, won't be dreading towing a caravan in future now.

Kicking yourself for not doing it sooner?
I know for sure I was!

Was there a notable change in fuel economy?
On the way down we got 24.5mpg
On the way back we got 21.8mpg
Obviously on the way, your defending to sea level, opposite on the way back.

I am kicking myself, it would have made the drive there and a trip to Scotland so much more relaxing.

I've not noticed the fuel economy to be honest. I don't really check it all the time anyway, just look at it now and then.
