Stop start also disabled
Tyre pressure sensors disabled
Collision avoidance disabled

So I have the above errors and need to find out what’s wrong, from reading all the other threads on this I need a OBDC scanner that will be also to investigate this further as the cheap basic ones won’t..can anyone recommended the absolute cheapest one I can buy for this that will work ?

I guessing it’s a wheel speed sensor as all the above fault codes depend on these wheel speed sensors.

Thanks

A constructive chat with AI has recommended this £60 one of Amazon which should be able to interface with the VAG ABS modules and wheel sensors ..i’ll keep you updated

I also need to reset the oil change / service interval which has recently started spamming me when I turn the car on..so fingers crossed this can do both.

so just an update, yes the above scanner worked a treat and reset the oil change and inspection prompts, it was also able to drill down and interrogate the ABS modules and shows it’s a the rear left speed sensor that is causing the issue..I’ll have a go later cleaning/repairing this once I take the wheel off 😃👍

What about the next layer deeper in the ABS - can you see the internal data e.g. brake disc temperatures, possibly under electronic differential lock subfunction?

a quick update, after wasting an hour jacking up and trying to remove the speed sensor which seemed to be well and truly stuck I realised there is a big plastic easily removed cover on the back of the wheel hub, which lets you get on the inside of the speed sensor where it mates up with the hub to sense wheel movement, it was then just a 2
minute job of cleaning this up with a old tooth brush as there was a small layer of rust and dirt …I went for a test ride and all sorted 😃

It’s a little but frustrating as if I had already know this I could have literally fixed this in 5 mins without jacking up and and removing the wheel, it’s all easily accessible by just lying under the van, the cover pops off with your fingers nails and then you can access everything inside…I ended up cleaning the other side too which again took just a few mins..

So really for anyone else with this error, you would still need an obd scanner to work out which sensor was dirty and then if it’s the rear just give it a go cleaning it with your partners tooth brush 🤣

How can brake disc temperatures be measured or is it an estimation?
It's calculated - I would guess based on energy absorbed based on speed delta during braking event.

That little nugget of info has made my week, thank you
