Erbspacher Diesel heater into cab area

Evening all, I currently set my diesel heater to come on in morning to try and warm the interior but as the vent comes out under the back of drivers seat it essentially is warming the rear of the van as it's really intended to.
What I would like to do is have a heated air into the front seats area for winter pre warming of the cab but be able to switch to the rear when sleeping in the van.
Is this possible?
I have seen 'Y' pieces but they will of course warm both directions and are not able to be blanked for the way I would like to.

Had anyone else done this in there van or know of a good way I can do this? I have more outlet hose that came with the heater but no other connectors.

Maybe a ‘Y’ piece and then one of these on the end of each outlet pipe, if the diameter is correct.

How about start it earlier and the whole van will be warm, it’s a very small volume.

That's what I did. Y piece and a closable/adjustable vent but the vent melted so dont buy those seen on eBay.
Now it just vents into both compartments using the supplied vents.

You could get an elbow piece and a bit of extra vent tubing. I have both in the garage so will get a pic of what I mean tomorrow.

Use a y-piece with a closeable flap, variety of which is to found on the bay of theives and such like. There are better quality webasto and eber ones that do not melt like was mentioned above by howzat (he obviously went for the chinesium model- a guy on the forum was trying to sell vents made from the same material)

Depends if you want something permanent I suppose. If temporary for winter I'd do something with magnets and tumble dryer hose that I could stash away in more clement weather.

You really need to leave heater on for about an hour to clear frost etc off the glass and heat up the whole van.
If you do use an adaptor to divert the air make sure it’s not a too tight bend that will restrict the air flow

I made an adapter for my original floor vent and then just redirect the hose as needed.

Made from ASA with carbon fibre and good to 110c. Run it over the past month and worked well. Was perfect while away at weekend to quickly clear front screen. Just put the hose through headrest. Also meant when directed back towards bed it was quicker to feel it.

Just need to work on best way to better hold in place, friction fit at moment but toying with some sort of magnetic fixture.
