Engine spins but wont start

Hi all,
Has anyone came across this fault on a T6.
It is an immitant fault, i turn on the ignition the glow plug light will start flashing, i turn the key to start an engine, it just spins but doesn't start. I leave go of the key it returns to ignition on but engine keeps spinning until i turn off the ignition. It shows no fault codes and is fine for a few more weeks.

Try the spare key. Its probably not a faulty transponder, but its happened to me in the past on another vehicle and it costs £00.00p to check.

That is indicating there is a fault, a fault scan of the van with a decent OBD reader will give you some idea of what

Thats totally normal and how most modern vehicles work now, you do not need to hold the key forwards to start the engine it will just crank until it starts
I assume its never failed to start before so you have just never noticed this functionality
