Engine cooling fan

Morning all,
I own a T6 Highline short wheel base T32 Registered Nov 2016.
I recently fitted heated seats using a Kufatec loom and upgraded the heating control unit on the dash.
I’ve noticed that when the right hand knob is set to windscreen the air con comes on and the engine cooling fan activates which I think is totally normal.
However if I turn the air con off the engine fan still runs. The engine fan will then go off and on in sync with the blower being turned off and on even with the air con off. It only does this when the right hand knob is set to windscreen. In the other settings with the air con off the engine fan doesn’t activate when the blower is turned on. Is this normal or have I got a fault?
If anyone can advise it would be much appreciated.

All normal, the air-conditioning gets switched on when set to windscreen. Doesn't matter what you do with the switch, it'll stay on

I’m having exactly the same issue just priced up the engine cooling fan and it’s £900!!!!

Can you buy the parts separately or do you have to buy the complete fan with cowling?
