Hi all. I purchased my van late last year, it's a 2017 ex RSPCA van, currently on 163000. I've just come back from putting 1400 miles on it around Europe, unfortunately it's gone through about 1.5 litres of oil. I suspected it was losing oil so had it fully serviced before going away so I knew I was at the right level. Garage has looked it over and are recommending a new engine, and quoting 13k! That does include allowing for all eventualities and putting in a new clutch etc. I can't afford 13k, so looking at getting it reconditioned. Can anyone make recommendations for the South East, even better if near to Horsham in West Sussex. I've seen so many mixed reviews online so looking for real reviews on here please. Much appreciated!
