So this happened on the way back home down the M4 this afternoon.

Any ideas before I ring VW tomorrow?

Those two lights can cover a multitude of sins and without a diagnostic check you’ll never know.

Did a reset and the lights have gone out, and seems to drive normally again now.
Should have bought Carista years ago.
