Hi folks,
So I'm after some guidance/help, please - this evening our electric driver's side rear door started making an unpleasant scrawling/grinding sound when I pressed the dash button to open it. It didn't open fully, and when I went to close it the noise was worse and the door didn't close; after several presses of the key fob button, it opened/closed less and then I saw the cable in the photo drop down. After lots of button pressing, more scrawling noises and manual pulling of the door I finally got it forced closed so I could lock the door overnight.
I have an RAC Platinum warranty that I'm hoping will cover this fix, but can anyone give me an idea if this is an easy DIY fix, a straightforward fix for a garage, or a time-consuming, expensive fix?
Thanks in advance.
