Hi guys. Relatively new member here. I’m after advice about lowering my van. I have a 2022 t6.1 kombi. It will mostly be an empty van apart from camping trips away and fishing tackle here and there.
I would like to lower it but after spending so much recently I can’t justify £1500 on coil over kits etc. So my question is what suspension would you go for, to lower it around 45mm? I have read that much that it’s pickled my brain. I was thinking the eibach 45mm pro sport lowering springs. But then I have read somewhere that an empty van won’t lower the 45mm and more like 25mm without weight in it. Can anyone advise me please. I have a mate who will fit whatever I want. But I just can’t make my mind up. In a couple of years I will go the coil over route but as it stands I just want a cheap option. Pic of van after putting new wheels on at the weekend.
