2020 T6.1 cxhc engine code
I’m about to bite the bullet on replacing both my EGR and my DPF and wondering if there’s any brands to avoid.
Van has been losing coolant slowly since I bought it roughly 5k miles ago. Need to top it up once every 3 weeks or so. No signs of a leak anywhere and fluid isn’t making its way into the oil so suspecting it’s the normal EGR cooler causing it.
Recently started getting a p226D00 fault code. Bank 1 missing substrate. Tailpipe also has soot on it which leads me to believe the DPF is also knackered.
Can anyone shed any light on either and let me know any brands to look out for and ones to avoid. Definitely not paying genuine VW money for the DPF, will fit this myself and likely have a garage fit the EGR as it looks like a ball ache.
