Eberspacher 801 heater not working

Have a upcoming trip in a few weeks

Just doing some checks and found the Eberspacher 801 heater would not come on heat

If I press the on button no green light
However if I press venterlation key , blue light on the van in the heater starts up

Removed power for about 5min
Still the same

From the manual if you press the on button for a while should show DA codes
Nothing at all

Diesel tank is full
Battery 13.7 volts , 100% capacity

Any thoughts

Think I have found the solution but come across another issue.



Gently removed the unit and the front face plate.
To my shock and horror, the wires in the PCB Boad fell out

Looks like they were just tinned and pushed in to the PCB Holes but not soldered in
Any reason for them not been soldered in ?



I have a small solder iron and looking to solder the wires in place so they cannot fall out.



The other issue look's to be with the button itself.
If I reversed the buttons, then the unit comes on.
