Hi
Am after some advice. Supposed to be looking at a 140 DSG T5 2013 with full service history and 65k miles, but no dsg oil change. Should I avoid? Im no mechanic and was wondering financially what the worst case scenario would be if the dsg turned out to be faulty? Appreciate your thoughts!

Does it drive ok? A (conservative) recommendation is change every 40k miles, so it’s not extremely overdue. I wouldn’t be unduly concerned if it drove ok. Factor the cost of a DSG service into your negotiations.

Thanks. Im supposed to look at it tomorrow. Im just trying to be sensible before I potentially fall in love with it!! Plus I've no idea of the cost to rectify it if the worst happens

as above its due every 40K miles.

at 65k miles you might be looking at a new DMF and EGR cooler soon.
