Do we still need to gap spark plugs?

I’ve got some new spark plugs for the other car, can I just put them in or do I need to gap them first?

My understanding is that if you’re running your car bone stock, (ie no tuning) they should be fine as is.

I have a tuned 911 and I’m aware that post tune my plugs required replacing and gapping accordingly.
