Gap between back doors and bed

Hi all, I’m out on my maiden voyage and van has been great - love it. Only negative so far is that there’s a 10cm ish gap between the back door and end of the bed which I’ve discovered is a pillow thief. I’m thinking of what I can cobble together to bridge the gap which will also make the bed a bit longer. Thinking of making a thick foam insert to push in to the gap? Anyone have the same issue and a good solution?

On my van (T6.1) the internal back door opener is below the bed height, so need the gap to be able to open the back doors from the inside.

What I did was get a matching set of cushions for the back seat and I slide them down that gap between the bed top and the doors.
Then I pull the mattress over the top of them all the way to the back doors.
Lusso campers on eBay will make matching cushions to size for you.
I didn’t get the cushions made overly big so I find a pair of shoes below them gives me the correct height.
