Do VCDS/VAGCOM run on a mac?

I have googled this and am still unclear.

I've not owned a PC for 16 years, if I hire Pauly's VAGCOM to install a rear camera can I run it on a mac or do I need to find a windoze machine with one of those retro CD drives?!

I tried running it on a virtual pc but the USB kept disconnecting.

@Loz should probably tell you hes a computer tech guy so if he cant do it its prob not really worth trying
There is a ross tech unit that will do it but its not the standard one and is more expensive as its wireless and connects to the vehicle over a network and not locally (as in direct connection)

Yep, I'm running windows 10 on Parallels on my MBP. No issues with VagCom here, just make sure Parallels tools is up to date.

Admittedly it was 2 years ago and windows 7. I'll try it again on windows 10 in that case.
