Do I smell my clutch (DSG)?

My van has only done 1000 miles, but sometimes when I've had to manoeuvre forward and back to get parked, I can smell a pretty foul burning type odour when I get out. Not every time I park, but occasionally. Any ideas?

Probably just a DPF regen, it does this periodically and smells of burning. You'll also hear the fan run loudly if it is a regen

Sounds like a regen its like a burning rubber smell ? The smell seems to subside after a few thousand miles

even the clutch, if a little urged, does that kind of smell ... of rotten eggs .., my Subby Sti makes a terrible smell ... but nothing bad happens ..

Hi all,
I am also getting a burning clutch smell and an extended loud fan running, after switching the van off, even from the shortest of journeys. It’s a 2019 DSG 2.0BiTdi 4Motion with 60k miles. It also seems to have a whirring noise when in D but brake pedal pushed down. Could this be clutch, flywheel, or DPF?

Burning smell and fan on points to the dpf doing a Regen ... You need to let the van complete the Regen cycle.
