Discover Nav - Fader?

I have just fitted 2 rear speakers to a Kombi and enabled 4 channels via VCDS. The speakers work perfectly and the balance function works fine but I can't see a fader option.

I this something you enable in VCDS (can't seem to find it, if it is) or you can enable via the settings on the head unit?

Any advice most welcome.

If you have only just activated it leave the vehicle for a while to go to sleep and it should display when you return, sometimes changes are not immediate and the vehicle needs to sleep

How do you activate it for fader option to appear?

By selecting 4 channel 6 speaker in the stereo coding with VCDS then the balance button on stereo changes to show balance/fader

Whats VCDS? Sorry for sounding simple here.

VCDS is a communication tool that can scan all the modules in any VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat etc for fault codes and you can change the coding, data log etc. If you have any form of new VAG group car you want to get friendly with someone who has this, you'll need it at some point and it'll save you VW's £100 charge if you get a light on the dash.

Still no fader function! Hmmmmmm back to the drawing board.
