Disable stop start using OBDeleven

Can anyone help me with the changes needed to disable stop start on t6.1 pls? I have seen a couple of threads - one suggesting it’s an app but I don’t see one for this, and the other talking about changing voltage settings. Anyone done this?

Disabling Stop start with software changes is done by "tricking" the system into thinking that all criteria are not met for a stop/start. eg battery too low, so changing that threshold.

In my opinion it is better to just install the adaptor piece ( from Aliexpress etc) that connects in line with the switch on the dash. That then allows the Stop/start to still work when required, but remembers whether active or not rather than always reseting it to active each time the van is started.

Not a hope to do it via software that easy way.
Your best way is to use automatic module.
You can make it up yourself or buy ready product from China.

For anyone interested, OBD11 now has the function to switch off start/stop. Given the amount of evidence pointing at turbo failures due and a suspected relationship with them no longer being liquid cooled, I tried this out last week and it works perfectly. No more start/stop and the dash now briefly displays that it is not active.

Cannot verify though as I use VCDS rather than OBD11.

As above just get the switch presser. It just plugs online with the off switch.
