Oli level sensor and stop start errors.

About a week ago I had an error flash up in the dash, in orange, that the oil lever sensor was faulty. (If I remember correctly I had just hit a pot hole). The error disappeared very quickly.

This morning I had the same message pop up, again it went off in much less than a second, hardly time to read it. Again in orange.

A min or two later I had a message flash up that stop start was disabled (this time in white).

I haven’t had time to do a scan, but wondering if these could be battery related (5yr3month old van)

However it’s had a AMT12 trickle charger fitted pretty much since new

As I thought it might be a battery issue I put it on charge when I got home:



Looks like I might take a trip to Alpha batteries tomorrow.
Tonight’s task - research what battery to get.

Mine always goes into save mode if I put the charger on, battery is two years old and works fine.

Mine always goes into save mode if I put the charger on, battery is two years old and works fine.

I left it for a while. The save light went out, the charge light came on. I thought oh maybe its ok.
Then when I went back about an hour later, the only lights showing were the green power and on the right hand side, just the red and yellow light. Unhelpfully there is no explanation for this.
