diesel heater

Am getting everything in place to fit an eberspacher heater on my T6. I removed the covers to see whats involved with dropping the diesel tank.
I had a try at disconnecting the adblue filler pipes going into tank but struggling a bit. Have tried squeezing the green lock thingy and pulling on hose but no joy.
Can someone give me an idea how to spring the 2 hoses.

Cheers

would be very interested in this! any luck? I've dropped the tank on our once before to remove the seatbrackets but we didnt disconnect the tubes as we just needed a little space..

I've seen on the kiravans video that they show the two tubes apart but dont detail how to do it. im not sure if they have adblue on theirs though..

Hi Fraser, No i am not a VIP member so will just have to slum it. Yes got the heater all fitted. just back from a few days at Loch Lomond so heater was in demand. works great.

Ketan, one thing if your T6 has a webasto for the engine, then you have a line that goes into the fuel tank anyways. I have this but wanted my own intake for the heater to keep things seperate. What i didnt realise that there is very little space to drill the hole for the stand pipe into the send unit if you have this. I managed to find a spot that would mean that the o-rings would sit nicely but did have to dremel smooth the surface a bit to make sure of this - there was some writing or sth in the way. I never saw this before and no-one ever mentioned it before - just one of those things you discover having battled to get the tank down and you're kind of resolved to drill it..
