I got mine from xtremvan and they were good. Gave me a discount on postage cause I was a forum member. I reckon the ‘kit’ you get from eBay will be where I go next tho.
The ‘vw eberspacher’ kits are exactly the same as any Eberspacher kit apart from the stand pipe, which is just a pipe. If there is one available on eBay from pfjones etc then go for that, as long as it comes with all the parts. From tank to unit should be:
Stand pipe,
Fuel line,
Pump,
Fuel line,
Eber.
Then you have a metallic exhaust and a plastic air inlet on the combustion side. An air inlet hose which is the same diameter as the air outlet, 71mm hole saw required. The wiring will be simple but probably not obvious. You might need to make up the fuse holders or crimp wires together. You have two connectors on the pump, a big connector on the eber, eight or nine wires on the controller and two power cables. Took me and my dad a day to fit.
