Snap. Mine is on the drivers door as well.
Mine was the same dead battery drivers door wouldn’t open had to open rear door with key and climbed through to open doors, I did take the lock out of drivers door someone had taken this out before and didn’t line the rod up with key socket easy fix
It's a 57 plate t5 shuttle. He spent around 25k nodding it, including t6.1 tailgate (electric) . T6.1 front. T6 dash etc
Here's how I got in.
Used the air bags in that kit, one of top of door and one in side. Pushed the rod in and located bonnet catch. Pulled it and in

So the air bags slightly bent the door top so much that you could enter with the probe?
Same way you could also open the door from the inside handle?

Then pop bonnet catch and you can get to battery.
Luckily I didn't need my balaclava or stripey top
