Has anyone added any form of cooling fan to keep the charger cool?
I'm thinking of adding a couple of 12v PC fans to add some cooling.

Do you need the full 50A? I have my Victron version wound down to 40 but it probably doesn't need to be as high as that really.Renogy DC DC 50A
Not having any issues but monitoring it on the app, it can get quite hot when running at 50A.
Nothing stopping you from doing, but you’re probably solving a problem that doesn’t exist. If the kit is happy as it is, don’t over think it.The guide for the battery says to charge it at 50A, but yes I could reduce it to 30A or 40A.
It's never indicated that there is any issue, always charges fine.
Just an idea I had was to add some air flow.
Does the app tell you how hot they get?I the XS50 in both vans.
I run them 25-40A. And they stay cool.
Agreed at full 50A they get hot.
FYI, they have a xs70A version coming out.
I wonder if that runs cool at 50A?...20A under the 70A max?
You couldn't put your hand on my old Orion TR30 when it was working! That needed fans to cool it!No,
